1st edition of the inter-company table soccer tournament

A success for this first edition of the Stella baby-foot Tour which gathered more than 250 people in a magnificent place full of history: the city hall of Tourcoing. A historical monument built in the 19th century on the plans of Charles Maillard, an architect from Tourcoing. A tournament that took place at the end of the week, Friday, September 18, 2022.

The tournament took place in two parts : the pool phase where each team faced 9 opponents. After that, only 3 teams were selected per pool for the 16th finals until the grand final.

Nostalgia and emotion were at the rendezvous for this first edition, the anecdotes of youth on the table soccer fused from everywhere. The participants told their stories while admiring the games of their opponents. No matter the level of the participants, the only thing that mattered was to have fun.

To present you the event, Tourcoing Entreprendre, the city of Tourcoing and Stella Baby-foot decided to create a foosball tournament dedicated to companies.

Many companies from the North of France were present such as Crédit du Nord, Crédit Agricole, Décathlon, Developpelec, Société Générale, Aushopping Promenade de Flandres or Ciuch.

An event like no other, we could talk business and network while competing on the field of our table soccer Collector.

Companies but also associations

Stella team members represented associations to try to win the prizes of the football table tournament. This provided visibility on issues that are important to us such as inclusion and recycling.

For the catering, 4 Graines offered us delicious sandwiches. We had to be in good shape to face the group matches. What would be a foosball tournament without a little draft beer with our partner Motte Cordonnier.

The personalities who played in the tournament

We also had special guests such as Ludovic Obraniak, a Polish international footballer turned coach and Corentin from Top Chef. A foosball tournament open to the public also involves stars of this sport such as the world champion of foosball or players in foosball clubs.

The prize-giving ceremony of the table soccer tournament

Yeah Pa will organize a foosball world cup in the company that came 3rd. Well-being at work is the new priority for companies.

For the second team, Aquila RH offered a Toi&Moi table soccer, a 2 person model for the J'achète team in Tourcoing.

The first prize was a Champion Collector foosball table customized in the colors of L'or en Peinture, the team that finished first in the tournament. They were impressive especially in their match with the world champion of table soccer that you can find live on facebook. This prize is offered by our partner Franprotec, a company of filtering masks, designed for respiratory protection.

Because we can't all be good at table soccer, we have reserved a surprise for the participants by randomly drawing a team to win a table soccer for their company.

The foosball museum and a networking room

Play but also learn a little more about the history with this mythical place but not that museum pieces have been moved to the second floor. Arcade games also have a history and you can come and discover it in our showroom in Tourcoing.

A networking room was also provided to exchange and make professional meetings.
