Your bars, carpets, box and feet require special maintenance. You will find all our advice in this category to best maintain your table football.

Barrier

The Baby Foot Stella are the only ones to offer you, on the whole range, bars with a diameter of 15mm which ensures a better solidity and longevity of your bars!

To ensure a fluid game and optimal slip of all bars, it is essential to maintain them well.

You can identify an oiler anomaly with a friction noise between the rod and the bar.

The choice of oil is essential to ensure the good maintenance of your bars. We advise you two types of oil:

  • The best solution is to use Vaseline oil that you can find as a burette. This oil has the advantage of being fluid and perfectly adapted for micro-mechanism.
  • You can also use 5W40 type engine oil whose viscosity is very low.
  1. Get a simple multi-purpose cloth that does not fear dirt.
  2. Clean the stem thus the internal length of the bar with a cloth to remove all impurities.
  3. Then position a cloth below the bar you have just cleaned. This will avoid staining the carpet of your table football.
  4. Pour or spray a few drops of oil on the stem as well as on the internal length of the bar.
  5. In order to evacuate the excess oil, make trips with the bar while leaving the cloth positioned under the bar.
  6. Your bar is now oiled! You can reiterate the operation for all bars.

If, despite this operation, you always see a significant friction noise, your bar may be twisted. Consult our dedicated section to remedy this.

To go further: Take advantage of this oiling operation to check for screws, handles and feet.

Carpet maintenance

The baby football game is one of the essential elements of your table football. All our Baby Foot Stella are equipped with carpets in Gerflex (registered trademark). This coating offers you the best sensations of play: it gives a slide and incomparable comfort.

However, regular maintenance of your carpet is needed.

Regular maintenance of your carpet is very simple, it consists of evacuating all the impurities that could deviate the ball. Thus, a vacuum cleaner is perfectly adapted to perform this task. We strongly advise you to adapt a brush tip to avoid scratching the carpet. You can also use a compressed air bomb or cloth, keeping not just moving the impurities but to get rid of it.

The following approach is different depending on your type of carpet:

  • My carpet is traced (it has white lines)

Some Baby Foot Stella are equipped with tracing of white lines by screen printing. We advise you the greatest vigilance when cleaning a task near these lines so as not to erase or alter them. We advise you to try at first to clean the stain with soapy water. If that's not enough, you can bring you "White Spirit". Pour only a few drops on a cloth and gently rub the task.

Do not use White Spirit on the lines!

If the carpet is too damaged, you can change it: We sell them to the unit and pre-cut.

  • My carpet is united

We advise you to try at first to clean the stain with soapy water. If that's not enough, you can bring you "White Spirit". Pour only a few drops on the cloth and gently rub the task. If the carpet is too damaged, you can change it: We sell them to the unit and pre-cut.

When you buy new football, it is quite possible that the carpet is slippery. It will quickly fade with time by playing some parts. Like a good wine, the foosball is boring aging and the carpet will gain adhesion. We also advise you to always use the same ball. Indeed, as the games go along, the ball softens and will facilitate controls.

If your table football has a plot rug (with white lines), the following advice is only to apply if the scratch is not located on a row of the carpet. Pour a few drops of diluent or White Spirit on a cloth and rub the scratch. This one should disappear or diminish. If the carpet is too damaged, you can change it: We sell them to the unit and pre-cut.

To go further: Enjoy cleaning the carpet to check that the foosball is right. For this, drop a ball in the middle of the ground. If she does not move, your baby football is right! If this is not the case you can put holds under the feet. We advise you to use chair skates for more aesthetics.

Caisse's maintenance

The care of the crate is very simple. To get rid of fingerprints, grease and other impurities, you can clean it with a cloth and a multi-purpose product or a window product.
