Each player throws three darts per turn. To score points, a player must close a zone by getting at least three successful shots in it. Once a zone is closed, only the player who closed it can score points on it for the remainder of the game.

In addition to closing individual zones, players can also score additional points by aiming for triples (three times the numerical value of the zone) or doubles (twice the numerical value of the zone). The outer bullseye is worth 25 points, and the inner bullseye is worth 50 points.

The game continues until all players have closed all zones or until a player reaches a certain number of points.

No-score Cricket : In this variant, the only points that count are those scored on closed areas. Open areas add no points to the score. This requires a different strategy as players must decide when to close an area to maximize their score while preventing opponents from scoring.

Low-ball Cricket : Similar to Cut-Throat Cricket, the goal is to obtain the fewest points possible. However, in Low-ball Cricket, players try to close the lowest value areas, such as numbers 1 to 5, while preventing other players from doing so.

Wild-Cricket : This variant introduces "wild areas" on the board. Players must decide in advance which areas will be considered wild. These areas can be closed by any player and score points for the player who closes them. This adds an additional strategic dimension to the game.

Double-only Cricket : In this variant, only double points count. Players must close the doubles of each number from 15 to 20 to score points. This emphasizes the accuracy of double shots and offers a different gaming experience.
