American Billiard Rules
The American billiard is characterized by the simplicity of understanding its rule of the game and the multiplicity of its variants. So here's what you can play with your Stella Chiberta billiards.
If the official dimensions of the tables are 2,80 x 140 meters, the Chiberta is distinguished by its compact size of 1.60 meters, allowing it to integrate in all spacesEven the smallest. The table has 4 pockets at the ends and 2 pockets in the middle.
What equipment is needed to play American billiards?
Whatever rule or variant you decide to play, it is advisable to use two tails, one break, heavier, and one play. When you buy a Stella billiard you are provided with four tails, two 145 centimetres and two 122 cm, allowing you to reach technical and sensations. You can also complete your equipment by purchasing Additional tails. In addition, the Pool is played with 16 balls of which 15 numbered - those 1 to 8 being full and the others striped - and one white, all delivered with your Chiberta.
There is four game modes we suggest you discover: the game of the 8, the game of the 9, the game of the 10, and the 14/1 continues.

THE DAY OF THE 8
The game of 8, the best known, is played together with all the balls. The objective of this game rule is toPoach his group's balls (full or striped) before finishing with black (the ball number 8).
How do I prepare the pool table?
You first need to constitute the triangle. To do this, simply place the 8 in the middle and the other balls randomly, avoiding that the three ends of the triangle are part of the same camp and that a line of identical balls is formed. Then the triangle must be placed on the fly from the starting point. Finally, the white ball must be positioned at the place you want within the break zone. The latter is bounded by two flies.
How to determine the color or group of the player?
The American billiards is being played two or two teams of two which are each characterised by a group, that of striped balls (from 9 to 15) or full balls (from 1 to 7). The camp of each player is defined according to the first break. In fact, the participant who made the break is granted the group of the ball which was first taken.

What is the purpose of the game?
As mentioned earlier, this game rule is relatively simple. It consists of: Poach balls of his group before end with black. The player continues the game as long as he picks up balls and that, without making mistakes.
If you decide to play with name, constraints add to those already existing. Indeed, before stamping a ball, you must name it as well as the hole in which you wish to place it. It will be considered a mistake, an advertisement not made.
What actions are punished as mistakes?
Various mistakes can lead to a change of player, the opponent having the advantage of playing the next shot, sometimes even placing the white ball freely. Thus, blows jumped or massaged are considered to be gambling errors if the obstacle ball moves. In addition, when a part of a billiard is named, if the named ball is not embossed and neither the white nor a ball of his group has struck the band, then it is a mistake.
Can we lose the part without the opponent holding the 8?
It is quite possible to lose the game without finishing the pool game. This happens if you make one of the following mistakes:
First, if you make one of the mistakes previously seen at the time of stamping the 8.
Second, if you take the 8 without having taken all the other balls.
Third, if you project the 8 out of the table.
Fourth, if you put the 8 in a pocket other than the named one (if you play with name).

THE GAME OF 9
The game of the 9 is also played with two with the balls numbered from 1 to 9. The principle is simple: Poach 9 by touching each turn the ball at the lowest number on the billiard table. It is often recommended to pack all other balls before attacking the 9.
How do I prepare the pool table?
Balls 1 to 9 should be placed in diamond with 1 on the breakpoint and 9 in the middle. The white ball must be positioned at the place you wish within the break zone. The latter is bounded by two flies.
What is the purpose of the game?
The game of the 9 aims to: Poach the numbered ball 9, by necessarily touching each shot, the ball having the smallest number. So the game will be won by the one who manages to Poach 9either directly once all the other balls have been pulled out, or in combination, i.e. indirectly by ricochet of white on the lowest ball.
The player continues to play until a mistake is committed or fails to take hold. In the latter case, it is up to the adversary to take the hand. If it is a mistake, the opposing player can position the white ball wherever he wishes.
What actions are punished as mistakes?
Like all other pool games, mistakes can be made, allowing the opponent to take the hand and place the white ball at the place of his choice on the playing surface. Balls that have been embroiled on fault shall not be placed on the billiard table except 9. In this case, it is placed on the break point. The various errors are as follows:
First, if you don't touch the ball with the smallest number on the table.
Second, if you get the white one.
Third, in the case of a sautéed ball.
Can we lose the part without holding the 9 by the opponent?
l is quite possible to lose the game without holding the 9 even if this is more rare than with the game of 8. Indeed, this is only the case where the player commits three consecutive mistakes in one game.
THE JEW OF THE 10
The game of the 10 is played with balls numbered from 1 to 10. The rule is similar to that of the game of 9, the difference being thatPacking the 10 is what allows to win the game.
Concerning the preparation of the table, the balls are arranged in triangle, the 1 being on the break point and the 10 in the center.
THE 14/1 CONTINUING
The 14/1 continues is played with the 15 numbered balls and the white one. The goal of this pool game is to pack the designated balls in the chosen and stated pockets. Each ball worth a point, the winner will be the one who will reach the number of points defined at the beginning of the game, hence the interest of getting out a maximum of balls per game round. The continuous 14/1 name comes from the fact that the triangle will be reshaped with the first 14 embossed balls - the 15th remaining on the table - until the number of points is reached. Before breaking the triangle again, the last ball must be packed.
